Participants Wanted To Share Views On Packaging and Plastic
Take part in a research study on household plastic consumption in the UK with Oxford Brooks University
With the support of Stroud District Action on Plastic, Oxford Brookes University is inviting households in the Stroud district to take part in a short research study on the motivational drivers and aspirations of people who have the intention to shop plastic-free.
Very little is known about the relevant psychological drivers for reducing plastic waste at a household level and so the aim of this project is to identify factors that enable or inhibit positive attitudes to reducing household plastic waste.

“Given the aims of the study, Action on Plastic is very keen to support and promote participation in this project. We are hoping to rally 30+ households and are reaching out to you in the hope that you will take part. The results will be published in an academic article which follows on from a previous study on the same subject that you can read by clicking here“.

In essence the project would require you to upload two sets of itemised shopping receipts from two weekly shopping trips, as well as completing an online questionnaire.
If you would like to take part or are interested in finding out more then please contact Samantha Miles at smiles@brookes.ac.uk or Christian Ehrlich at cehrlich@brookes.ac.uk who will email you all the information you need for participating.
