Action on Plastic is a Stroud-based community action group seeking to reduce dependence on single use plastic across Gloucestershire, to educate and inform people about alternatives, and to promote more mindful consumption. Stroudco has always avoided single use plastic wherever possible, as part of our commitment to keep our footprint tiny. Now Action on Plastic is supporting Stroudco as we look at how any remaining plastic might be eliminated, or alternatives used, by our producers and in our delivery service.

Hawkwood

Week 2 3

"Our Centre for Future Thinking just outside Stroud stands for environmental sustainability and we are a huge supporter of community creativity. We were delighted to be able to offer a home to Stroudco for a few months during the initial Covid lockdown in 2020 and we have watched as the various projects that Stroudco is creating have steadily grown providing routes to market not only for the wonderful fresh produce grown and produced at the adjacent Starter Farm and Microdairy but also the Stroud Community Agriculture Farm based here at Hawkwood and, excitingly, our own market garden."

We, at Stroudco, are very glad to be able to make regular donations through the generosity of our customers and to continue to support this local frontline project.
