The Open Food Network
The Open Food Network provides community supported software to connect local producers, food hubs, and customers online across the world. As a part of this global network Stroudco not only supports local, we are also one of many initiatives working together to create a more positive and sustainable future for all.
Stroud District Action On Plastic (SDAP)
Action on Plastic is a Stroud-based community action group seeking to reduce dependence on single use plastic across Gloucestershire, to educate and inform people about alternatives, and to promote more mindful consumption. Stroudco has always avoided single use plastic wherever possible, as part of our commitment to keep our footprint tiny. Now Action on Plastic is supporting Stroudco as we look at how any remaining plastic might be eliminated, or alternatives used, by our producers and in our delivery service.
Transitions Stroud works through action groups as a network for people and groups to promote and guide the transition to a locally-based low carbon lifestyle. Focused on key areas such as transport, food, reuse and repair, and reducing carbon, they also convene a Forum for climate action groups across the Stroud District. They are also one of our partners which make up the Trinity Rooms Community Hub.
The Trinity Rooms Community Hub Partnership

- Share Knowledge
- Encourage Ideas
- Celebrate Arts
- Support Community
- Connect People To Nature
The Long Table
Pay what you can healthy frozen meals cooked from scratch by The Long Table volunteers using mostly local ingredients. A choice of meals is available for purchase every week on our online shopfront. We also provide the option to donate to The Long Table without buying any meals. You can also pick up meals in person during the week as we also have a Freezer of Love in operation at our Trinity Rooms Hub.
Stroud Town Council
We are grateful to Stroud Town Council for supporting us through our redevelopment phase in 2020, through means of a grant that has enabled us to prepare for a relaunch focusing on our newly developed mission and values.
Stroud District Council
We are grateful to Stroud District Council who have been very helpful in providing us with advice speedily and efficiently whenever required to do so and also in registering our applications for alcohol licence and food and health & safety requirements.
"Our Centre for Future Thinking just outside Stroud stands for environmental sustainability and we are a huge supporter of community creativity. We were delighted to be able to offer a home to Stroudco for a few months during the initial Covid lockdown in 2020 and we have watched as the various projects that Stroudco is creating have steadily grown providing routes to market not only for the wonderful fresh produce grown and produced at the adjacent Starter Farm and Microdairy but also the Stroud Community Agriculture Farm based here at Hawkwood and, excitingly, our own market garden."
Stroud District Food Bank
The Stroud District Food Bank supports and helps households by providing food and compassion to those who are in crisis across Stroud District, a need which is ever more called upon in these challenging times. We, at Stroudco, are very glad to be able to make regular donations through the generosity of our customers and to continue to support this local frontline project.
