Stroudco is unique in several ways:
- nobody takes any profit out of Stroudco. Lynsey is paid on an hourly basis for the time she works, but all the other work of running Stroudco is done by volunteers.
- there are over 50 small-scale Stroudco producers offering more than 400 products, so you can support lots of local food and drink enterprises in one weekly shop.
- we will deliver to your door for as little as £1.22.............. and if you order more than £40 on the 3rd Saturday of the month we will deliver anywhere within a 10 mile radius completely free of charge.
- many of our producers have no other retail outlet for their produce. You can only buy it direct from them or thorugh Stroudco.
- some of our producers offer farm days which are an opportunity to see where your food is grown - and get your hands dirty if you like!
